While still eggs - baby crocodiles communicate with each other in order to synchronise their hatching - reports The Times of London.   Nile Crocodiles were recorded just before they were about to hatch, these calls were then played to another batch of eggs.  On hearing the recorded noises of the  un-born crocs, the group of eggs started to answer and moved  more frequently, synchronising  their hatching to within 10 minutes of each other.  Other sets of eggs left in silence or exposed to random noises did not fine-tune their hatching.
